Black Note x 2, Valencia, 28/07/2022
Black Note is a fantastic place where you can enjoy two exciting jam sessions every Thursday. The first session starts at 8:00 pm and features called Pool Jazz, a band that I work with as their painter. They play some truly wonderful jazz sounds that you don’t want to miss. The second session starts at 11:00 pm and is led by Willy Chinasky, who mixes different types of music. He invites people from the audience to sing their favorite songs, which is always a fun experience.
During the summer, I painted at Black Note frequently, and I even stayed for both sessions on occasion. Recently, I created two paintings of women, one in color and the other in black and white, which were inspired by the music. The impact that music has on my paintings is undeniable, and it’s fascinating to see how it all comes together.
